From humble beginnings in Dublin 10 our family run business started as one man with a van with Thomas Coyle in 1950 delivering fresh fruit to local homes. In 1953 Thomas bought the building where he ran his shop on the ground floor and raised his family where he raised his family upstairs with Kay. In 1990 Paul took over and still runs the shop today. Fruit at Work started in 2008 when some enquiries from offices throughout Dublin regarding the delivering of fruit hampers for the staff and after some research quickly realised the benefits of fruit in the workplace and a gap in the market for this. With the help of his wife Catherine, daughters Deirdre and Grainne Fruit at Work Ireland has grown steadily over the years with thousands of pieces of fruit leaving our store each day and weekly deliveries as far as Cork.
Our company ethos remains the same of a
friendly, reliable service offering the freshest produce at an affordable price
with no order being too big or too small. With the interest in health and
wellbeing all over the country increasing we hope to see Fruit at Work Ireland,
our family run business, go from strength the strength in the coming years.
